Unsure about the installation and/or fitting of your child’s car seat? Kidsafe NT offers a cost-effective service, by qualified Type 1 fitters, that will ensure your child’s car seat is fitted correctly and that it complies with government legislation.

This fitting service provides a comprehensive overview of how the restraint you have purchased works, how to use and adjust the restraint for your child; and it is then installed into your vehicle.

Please note: Where factory fitted anchor points are not present, the customer is required to install, at their own cost, an anchorage system that meets the Australian Design Rules with certification from MVR/Department of Infrastructure, Planning & Logistics.

Kidsafe NT has a range of Baby Capsules, 0 – 4 years Convertibles, 6 month – 8 years restraints and Booster seats available for short and long term hire. Our hire services include constant support and assistance from our friendly staff, we can adjust internal harnesses for your growing children as part of our long term hire service.

We also offer advice appointments for parents and carers who are attempting to fit multiple children into a single vehicle. We have a wide range of seats available to move around and check the suitability for each specific car.

Kidsafe NT has extensive experience in the installation and use of child car restraints for children of all ages, and will walk through the safety implications and long-term requirements of the car seat/s in use.
