  • Provide a Shop Front information and resource centre.
  • Provide a Telephone Advisory service.
  • Provide an internet website with safety information and a direct e-mail link.
  • Provide an extensive Community Talks Programme to parent and professional groups.
  • Participate in community events in the form of static and interactive displays.
  • Provide a Short Term Child Car Restraint Hire Scheme.
  • Conduct an ongoing Water Safety Program by maintaining a drowning data base, advocating for the ongoing improvement of Swimming Pool Fencing Legislation in the NT, eg that it should meet Australian Standards and apply to all NT pools.
  • Provide Child Safety Advice to the community through representation on numerous committees.
  • Oversee the Early Childhood Injury Prevention Programme which operates through the network of NT Community Care Centres
